I am back to normality now after four mad weeks, first I went to Florida to attend my son Quentin and his wife Hayley's wedding with the rest of the family, it was a lovely wedding which took place on the beach in Anna Maria Island, which is on the gulf of Mexico.
I returned to the UK, landed at Gatwick and was picked up and driven to Stanstead airport where I boarded a plane for Trieste in Italy, after an overnight stay the next day we drove down to Novigrad in Croatia for the European championships, which took place on Saturday and Sunday. The organisation on the first day was terrible but the TAGB took over the running on the second day and put it right. The location was really nice and the accommodation god. I returned home on the Monday to the UK and on Friday evening did a grading in Birmingham, then on Sunday went to Caridff for the TAGB Welsh championships and had a grading the same night in Shirley and this week I have 2 gradings: one in Solihull and the other in Mulsoe, so you could say I have been quite busy, bank holiday week-end I fly out to the Republic of Ireland to do a black belt grading for Tom Thornton.
I would like to thank everyone who went to Croatia, well done everyone and the Welsh championships another great event.
