There are a number of items that you need to be aware of for the forthcoming World Championships in Coventry.
Please read this carefully as every point MUST be adhered to in order for the Championships to run smoothly.
1. WEIGH-IN
The Weigh-in will be held at the Britannia Hotel, Fairfax Street, Coventry, CV1 5RP. The room will be open on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th July from 9.30am – 1pm and 4pm – 8pm each day. On Saturday 13th the weigh-in will be open from 9am until midday.
There will be no charge for amendments made following weigh-in on these days. Weigh-in will also be available on all the days of the competition at the tournament venue (Skydome) Any amendments made at “on the day” weigh-in will be subject to a re-entry fee.
2. OFFICIALS T-SHIRTS
ALL officials MUST wear an officials’ t-shirt to the event. NO RED SHIRTS TO BE WORN – These senior referees are to wear normal black referees t-shirts.
3. SECURITY
A private security firm have been employed to man the entrances to the fighting area so ID cards MUST be shown at all times.
4. SEATING
The reserving of seats is not allowed, therefore DO NOT leave any bags on seats.
5. SEPARATE OFFICIALS ENTRANCE
Officials must enter the Skydome through the designated Officials entrance at the rear of the venue. This entrance will close at 9am sharp each day. After that time officials will need to enter through the spectators’ entrance and pay the daily entry fee.
6. OFFICIALS MEETING
A meeting for Overseas’ officials only will be held on Friday 13th July. TAGB Officials are NOT required to attend this meeting.
7. COACHES
Only designated coaches will be allowed around the fighting area.
