This is my 1st of many blogs - for my 1st Blog I will talk about the World Championships. The feedback from around the World and the UK is all positive. The TAGB hosted a fantastic 3 day event. This was my 8th World Championship and was by far the biggest, hardest and best one that I've been in. Many of my team mates and friends from around the World came away with medals. So well done to you all. I was very happy with my individual gold, however the Team Gold has to be the highlight. This is the 4th consecutive World Championship Gold, the Men's England team have won and I'm proud to say I've been captain on all 4 occasions. The ladies team, captained by Tamsen Oatey also won the gold which is their 3rd consecutive title. We as a team train very hard with our Coach Master Kenny Walton and it's always nice when our hard work, commitment, blood, sweat and tears pays off. The next international event is the Eurpoeans in Davos, Switzerland. Davos is a great place, I have been many times and would encourage everyone to get over there next year.
