I want to start my blog today with congratulations to Master Atkins, Master Donnelly, Master Sergiew, Master Walton & Master Dew on their promotion to 9th dan Grand Master by Tae Kwon Do International and the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain, it will be an honor for me as President of Tae Kwon Do International, Chairman of the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain and Chairman of the British Tae Kwon Do Council to present these gentleman with their certificates at the World Championships in July. I have known and worked with them all since the early 1970's and they are all founder members of the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain and Tae Kwon Do International. I also want to congratulate the following people who had outstanding performances at the black belt grading last week-end: Best lady black belt: Catherine Pearson from Wirrall & Chester, best male black belt: Carl Betty from Pontypool. Best junior black belt: Kian Griffin also from Pontypool. Best 1st kup: Miss Sam Anderton from Crosby, it was another great and successful week-end for the TAGB. Well done to all those who were successful and commiserations to those who were not promoted on this occasion.
